Included

A cabin the next family can't tell was lived in

For owners of rental cabins who want the hearth, the tub and the game room treated like the bedrooms. The whole house, in the order that works, with photos at the end.

Extras are their own lines on your estimate: the hot tub, the deck, outdoor grill grates, laundry done at our shop, and anything outside the checklist.

What the crew does

  • Hearth swept, glass and mantel wiped, firewood counted

How a visit goes

From the last guest's car to the lock-up

  1. 01

Step 1: Photograph how it was left

Before anything moves, so the record is honest.

  2. 02

Step 2: Hearth, bins and the tub cover

The dirtiest jobs go first and have time to air out.

  3. 03

    Step 3: Kitchen and baths

    Counted against your restock list.

  4. 04

Step 4: Game room, then floors

Top of the house to the bottom.

  5. 05

Step 5: Beds and the final walk

Beds last. Ellen or the crew lead signs the report.

Before and beyond

What helps the crew, and what we leave alone

  • What to set up before we arrive

Not much. A cabin that is easy to enter is a cabin that finishes on time.

    • A lockbox or keypad code in your estimate

    • Your restock list and linen count

    • Where the bear-resistant bin and the firewood live

    • Anything guests shouldn't see, locked away

  • What we don't do

A turnover is cleaning. These stay with a specialist.

    • Light fires, move hot ash or clean flues

    • Balance tub chemistry or drain a tub

    • Mold, pests, biohazards or heavy debris

    • Repairs, furniture moving or work at height

Questions

About cabin turnovers

How long does a turnover take?

It depends on the cabin. The walkthrough tells us, and the estimate says how many people and how many hours we plan for before it's booked.

What if the checkout is late?

Tell us or send the booking calendar. A late checkout is added to that turnover as a labeled line, and a same-day changeover is flagged when we book it.

Whose supplies do you use?

We bring our own cleaning supplies. Linen, paper goods and toiletries come from your restock list. If you'd like fragrance-free products, say so at the walkthrough.

Start with a walkthrough

We see the cabin, write the checklist and send a number. Nothing is booked until you approve it.
